What KytherIQ collects, uses, and protects.
KytherIQ collects only the information needed to answer inquiries, provide services, process payments, operate the website, and send communications you request or expressly consent to receive.
Who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy applies to KytherIQ, operated by Tristin Von Gunten d/b/a KytherIQ, and to information collected through kytheriq.com and KytherIQ's direct business communications.
Information collected
- Contact and inquiry information. Information you submit, such as your name, company, phone number, email address, trade, project details, requested services, and timing.
- SMS consent records. If you voluntarily opt in to SMS, KytherIQ may retain the phone number, consent status, consent source, and submission details needed to document that choice.
- Service and project material. Photos, measurements, price books, documents, contracts, notes, and other material you provide for work you request.
- Website usage information. Basic traffic and device information used to understand site performance and usage.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. KytherIQ does not store full payment-card numbers on this website.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, prepare and deliver requested services, schedule work, provide customer support, process or document payments, maintain business records, secure and improve the website, and comply with legal obligations.
Mobile information and SMS privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. KytherIQ does not sell or rent mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent. Mobile information and SMS consent are used only to provide the communications the recipient requested or expressly agreed to receive.
KytherIQ may use service providers, including messaging and hosting providers, solely to process information on KytherIQ's behalf and deliver the requested service. Those providers are not permitted by KytherIQ to use mobile information or SMS consent for their own marketing.
If you opt in to the KytherIQ SMS program, you may receive customer-service responses, missed-call follow-ups, appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling updates, service-related notifications, and other communications you requested. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
How SMS consent is collected
Website SMS consent is collected through a separate, optional, unchecked checkbox on the KytherIQ quote form. A visitor can submit the form without selecting the SMS checkbox. KytherIQ does not treat acceptance of this Privacy Policy or the Terms as SMS consent.
Service providers and disclosures
KytherIQ may use vendors such as Netlify for website hosting and form processing, Twilio or other communications providers for messaging, Stripe for card payments, Supabase for secure storage of inquiries and customer records, and analytics providers for site performance. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, protect rights or safety, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.
KytherIQ does not sell personal information or maintain data-broker lists.
Retention
Inquiries, consent records, and job files are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including service delivery, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. You may request deletion where applicable.
Security
KytherIQ uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small business. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please do not send highly sensitive information through ordinary website forms or SMS.
Your choices
- You may submit the quote form without opting in to SMS.
- You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
- You may request SMS help by replying HELP.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of information by contacting KytherIQ. See also Your accounts.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as KytherIQ's services or legal obligations change. The effective date below identifies the current version.
